This page summarises the important information you need to know when coming to play Small Time Criminals. For more details, see the full list of Frequently Asked Questions.
Small Time Criminals is a simulated bank heist. You’ll sneak into a building in the dark with torches, working out how to find and access loot. The bank is two storeys tall and the second floor is accessed via stairs. The game takes around 75 minutes, including about an hour inside the bank.
Please arrive on time, preferably not more than 5 minutes early. We encourage (safe!) costumes, but not props or equipment – don’t worry, we’ll give you everything you need! You need to wear closed shoes.
If you’re really early or looking for other things to do in the area, there are some local cafes and bars which open at the same time as some of our sessions – see the FAQ for details of some of them. We also can’t accomodate non-players during a session, so if someone needs to come along and wait for you, that list might also come in handy!
If you’re running late, please let us know as soon as possible; we might have to make your game shorter to make sure other sessions still run on time. If you’re 20 or more minutes late, there won’t be enough time to run your game and we’ll need to cancel your session. We may be able to reschedule your game at our discretion, but a rescheduling fee will apply.
If you want to cancel, we’ll give you a full refund if you give us at least 48 hours notice, and a 50% refund if you give at least 24 hours notice. There’s no refund for a cancellation made less than 24 hours before your session. You can also reschedule a booking if you give us at least 24 hours notice, but note that a fee may apply if you give us less than 48 hours notice.
